About this client

This customer came from USA, She fell in love with motorcycling while living in Japan, and she thought long hair can affect the freedom of riding on fast rides. So she came up with a design so that female cyclists would not have to worry about long hair being a hindrance when riding. So she designed a product specifically for long-haired riders, allowing them to manage their hair well while riding.

The concept of this product:

This product is mainly installed on the back of motorcycle helmets, and is used to fix the hair of the rider, so that customers can concentrate the hair in the headband cover to prevent it from flying out.

The hair protector creates a separate pocket for your hair, outside your helmet and away from your neck. In the summer your hair doesn’t get sweaty, and the extra breeze on you neck helps you stay cool.

Because this plastic part needs a certain degree of bending, the material we choose must be elastic and bendable. And the hardness of the material needs to reach at 80A, so the TPE material is selected, which is easy to be injection molded and has a very beautiful appearance, and the elasticity is also very good.
